“Taylor made me feel welcome. She … is a great leader.”
“I worked with Taylor in a time of change. Iconic had been acquired and brought into Stellar, but our place in the company kept shifting. As a team, we felt uncertain. We wanted to get organised, work on big projects, and get some real results. As soon as Taylor came in as the Director of Product Marketing, all that uncertainty melted away.
She helped us get organised with systems and task management that worked for us. She oversaw plugin releases, product roadmaps, and helped shape our marketing releases to make them a well-oiled machine. I will be forever grateful for the solid start Taylor gave us as a team.
On top of this, Taylor made me feel welcome. She encouraged me when I needed it, and trusted me to do the work with only the oversight I needed. She is a great leader, one any team would be lucky to have.”

This section describes how I know the reviewer, how long we’ve worked together, and what version(s) of my career they’ve intersected with — the contextual release notes of our collaboration.
- Relationship: When I stepped into the Director of Product Marketing role at StellarWP, Gina was already effectively running content and strategy for IconicWP and Orderable. She didn’t need micromanagement; she needed alignment and a clear connection to broader business goals. My job was making sure her work had the visibility, support, and organizational clarity it deserved, and making sure leadership understood what her team needed to keep shipping and growing. When I later moved into product, we stayed connected across the org and continued collaborating as peers.
- Length: One year in a direct supervisor relationship, and another two as peers from afar.
- Taylor Versions: During my Director of Product Marketing era across: GiveWP, KadenceWP, Orderable, WP Business Reviews, and IconicWP.
- Focus: Our work together centered on go-to-market strategy, brand messaging, competitor research, revenue growth, and building repeatable marketing systems that fit into the broader StellarWP marketing org. A lot of it was about smoothing handoffs with design and web, standardizing workflows, and giving her team the structure they needed to operate efficiently during a couple of turbulent transitions after the post-acquisition period.
